Recognizing selling opportunities all has to do with attitude and thinking in opportunities instead of threats.
The next short story illustrates this just fine:
A shoe company's sales manager was sent to Africa to sell shoes. Shortly after he arrived, he called his boss and said: “I'm coming back right away. There's nothing to sell. Nobody wears shoes here." So, the shoe company immediately sents in a new sales manager who also immediately calls back home with the message: “Please send every shoe you have! Nobody is wearing shoes here!” |
So remember this sales manager next time before you turn down any opportunity.
