Why God created you Imperfect !

Why do humans make mistakes? Why aren't we shaped perfect, like computers?

The answer to these questions can be illustrated in the next simple statistic approach.

We know we live in an imperfect world.

But on the other hand what is imperfect?

We know God is described as Perfect.

But what do we mean by perfect.

Perhaps imperfect could prove to be more perfect than perfect?

Let's find out

Let's first define Imperfect:

Imperfect = Not Perfect

and define Perfect as:

Perfect = pure, containing no faults or deviations

As you know the (material) world itself is imperfect and so are we human beings.
Now let's see what happens if a human being draws a conclusion from certain data in the material world.

We now may conclude the following:
Only if a perfect human being on basis of perfect data (information) draws a certain conclusion, we may be a 100% sure that conclusion is right.

Now since they both do not exist in reality, we may skip this possibility.

Now look at an imperfect human being. When he draws a conclusion from imperfect data, there is at least a change that he might draw the right conclusion.

So now you know why God shaped you imperfect:

To survive in an imperfect world !

-- Example --

Suppose we have two coins.
We presume that both coins have a head and a tail.
But in practice data are always incorrect. So let's say one of these coins has two heads instead a head and a tail.

Now two experts are examining the coins. They have to conform something that everyone in the world already knows:

The hypothesis : Coins have a head and a tail

One coin-expert, called Breinstein, is perfect. But the other coin-expert, called Blindstein, has a vision problem called presbyopia, the slow loss of ability to see close objects. Blindstein, however, does not know this yet, he only thinks his arms are getting shorter!

Both experts now examine the two coins:

  • Expert Breinstein concludes that one of the two coins has two heads; so he concludes the hypothesis is false:
Coins do not have a head and a tail

  • Expert Blindstein concludes that both coins have a head and a tail; so he states the hypothesis is true:
Coins have a head and a tail

From this we may conclude that in this case it's better to hire an imperfect expert ?!

Of course you already noticed: Something is going terribly wrong here.

Find out for yourself what's wrong. If you can't make up, come back in a week on Philos and see the solution.

Just realize that the approach as given here, is the start of receiving insight in several interesting phenomena such as serendipity.

Although there is something wrong here, the conclusion that God shaped us imperfect has a reason that has to do with the study in this Blog !

Let's conclude here by saying that:

It's perfect to be imperfect

Or even better:

I'mperfect

Pythagoras Madness

We know that in the time of Pythagoras there where a lot of mysteries.

But the next mystery leads to:

Intelligence, 12 Tao's

What's intelligence? How can you improve it?

Particularly in this western oriented world your Intelligence Quote (IQ) seems very important, isn't it?

But what is intelligence really?

It can be seen in different forms. There are two mainstreams of intelligence the normal intelligence , we call IQ and the emotional intelligence , often called EQ

If IQ an IQ are in balance, you're changes of leading a happy life increase.

EQ an IQ in balance ?

Now try these wonderful EQ and or IQ tests, to find out for yourself:

The 12 TAO's of Intelligence

But there a far more Tao's (ways) of intelligence.

Very interesting is the vision of Jim Channon at Spectral Intelligence.

I quote his vision here:

Life as a work of art
A wonderful way to participate more fully in life is to interact with the world in as many ways as possible. Each type of intelligence you can acquire gives you another way to know and contribute to the civilization around you. In this paper we will learn about a greater range of intellectual styles than you are normally exposed to. Each style of intelligence can be practiced using normal everyday acts. The collective mastery of these more varied styles constitutes your spectral intelligence.

More intelligence equals more experience
As you experience each of these avenues for learning and contributing to your world, see if you can work with them too increase your range and awareness. Give yourself credit for even a small amount of skill in each area and then build upon the areas of interest to you. The new skills will open you up to greater fulfillment and a greater contribution.

Jim distinguishes 12 forms - or as I call them Tao's - of intelligence:
  • Verbal
  • Mathematical
  • Visual/Spatial
  • Musical
  • Physical
  • Intrapersonal
  • Interpersonal
  • Somatic
  • Native
  • Receptive
  • Intuitive
  • Emotional

Improve your intelligence skills where and whenever you can !

Making the Best Choice

Making the Best Choice is what it's all about in life.

Suppose you want to make an investment today. Each day your stockbroker gives you about 20 opportunities to invest.
But you want to make only one investment this day and it should be the best one.
How can you be sure to pick the right one?

You have only limited time (say about 10 minutes) for each investment to decide; after that, you’ll have to wait for the next offer. So after you go to the next investment offer, you won't be able to come back on the first one.
This kind of problems are known as

"The Sultan's Dowry Problem"
or
"The Secretary Problem".

The solution in these cases is very simple.

Rule of Thumb

Let go the first 33% of the total number of possibilities

THEN

choose the first one that has a better score than any of the ones you've seen thus far !

By doing so you have about 40% change you picked the best choice.

Of course this is a rough approximation. Are you interested in the exact probabilities and how it really works?
Go to :

The best choice out of 'n' unknown opportunities

Or of you like these kind of problems.

Anyway : Good choice !

Asking too much?

Sometimes when life laughs at us, we keep asking too much.

  • What's the reason for that?

  • Why is it never enough?

  • Why do we keep asking?

  • When is it enough?

  • Why don't we see we ask to much?

  • What is too much anyway?

You see it really becomes annoying when someone keeps on asking things !

This is perfectly demonstrated in a story called:

The Fisherman and His Wife

written by the Brothers Grimm (± 1820)

It's also possible to hear the story (21 minutes):

Have fun in recognizing your limits in life !

The Scream

You probably heard that a painting called The Scream was stolen.

The Scream !

Now the painting has become even more famous.
It was painted in 1893 by a Norwegian painter called Edvard Munch.
The meaning of this painting can be found at:

Not everyone is enthusiastic about The Scream.

Go(o)d Vibrations !

Everything in the universe is vibrations. Good vibrations......

  • When we talk......, our voice creates meaningful air vibrations
  • When we listen...., we interpretate the air vibrations
  • When we see ......, we interpretate the space-time vibrations
  • When we glow......, our body transmits infrared waves
  • When we think....., our brains produce α and β brainwaves
  • When we love......, we feel the 'good vibrations' vibes

In fact we could say that The Light and Sound of God together are the Voice of God:

Light
Now let's look somewhat closer at those vibrations we call Light.

What we call Light is in fact a very small part of what physicians call:

EMS = The ElectroMagnetic Spectrum

This EMS consists not only of visible light, but also of infra-red waves we feel or experience as "warmth", radiowaves, microwaves and so on.

In fact we only see a very small part of the EMS. Our human eye is limited. Some animals however are able to see other parts of the EMS.

Reed more about this eyeing subject on All in the brain of the beholder.

On the other hand as human beings we've learned to use the other parts of the EMS and used those waves to our convenience.

So at this very moment CNN, BBC end MTV are running trough your body, but you are not conscious of it.
We need "translators" such as televisions, radio's, telephones, and other devices to translate those waves to visible or audible interpretable signals. It's a projection or translation of the real truth EMS Universe. Just like in the times we just had "black & white" pictures or television.

What beauty would it be to percept the EMS in its full size and dimension.

What if we could look at the EMS universe trough the eyes of God?

Probably we wouldn't manage, it would be to much for us human beings. We've been shaped with receptors, senses, that fit our way to survive on this planet. And we are given the talent and responsibility to develop our talents in this view and environment that's been given to us.

In this approach -just like above - we make an image of God in our limited mind. We know we're not be able to grasp God as a whole. But this is the only way we can grow. Just like a little child by 'falling down' and 'getting up' without bothering, we have to change and adjust our vision on God every day.

Now as human beings we're having this superior egocentric view that we are the best of creation.
We have the highest consciousness of all creatures. We have the best view, are the smartest, etc. .....

Nothing is less true. We are not superior. Just take a look at what we're able to see of the EMS and what a bee is able to see.

We'll never know what a bee experiences as it looks at the ultraviolet part of EMS that we lack. Will we ever succeed in 'beeing a a bee'?

This leads to the interesting beeing question:

To bee or not to bee ?
